A day with BB.

Yesterday, my BB was coming to Waterloo to spend the day with me. We were both so excited that the night before, we hardly slept. He called me at 8:40am in the morning and I immediately woke up to prepare for his arrival. I didn't cook or anything, but I had to take all the trash out and wipe the kitchen counters. I took a shower and ate a Poptart and then waited. When he called me and said he arrived, I bolted out the apartment and walked to the foyer. Eager to see him, I pushed the door to go out and then it hit me... (for those who live in apartments would feel my pain)... The door slipped from my hands and I was locked outside. I totally forgot to bring my keys or my WATcard! So when I finally found BB, we waited 3 minutes in front of the door outside. Then this young gentleman came and opened the door for us. Thank god! (I know I could have buzzed for my roommate to open the door. But I didn't want to wake her up)

So as corny as it is. I wore my "I love my boyfriend" tee. YES I OWN ONE!! And I love this shirt :)

So we spent the morning with me talking about my room and complaining about the life living inside a box. Then we got tired since we hardly slept the night before and we napped. But as mentioned in my last blog, it's impossible to stay asleep. There's always someone or something that makes loud noises! ERR. So BB got hungry and he offered to make me some instant noodles with fishballs (I know I know, I should be the one offering to make it) OMG. BB makes the best instant noodles. It's not some tasteless, soggy shit that sets off the fire alarm like mine. Even though it's the same instant noodles, his way of making it is so much more healthy, tastier and faster. UGH, I so should have took out my camera to film him cooking LOL. He made a face with the fishballs in my bowl :) He said all the food he will make me would have faces on them. Isn't he sweet?

So we hung out at my place for a bit longer, watching Youtube and talking to each other. And making each other laugh. Then at 5:30pm we headed out for dinner early, so we can have enough time to visit one of our friends before BB leaves for Markham. We walked to the plaza across and found a small Korean restaurant that had a lot of people inside. Their menu was small so that made it easier for me to choose what to eat. But of course I ALWAYS order the same damn thing from Korean restaurants. GAM JA TANG! But before we got our food, I noticed our utensils were different than the usual. They were those authentic Korean utensils. See how thin the chopsticks and how long the spoons are? I found this sooo cool cause I've never used these super thin metal chopsticks before

Here's me with the ATM and fridge of Korean drinks behind me. LOL I don't know why, but I had the weirdest eyes that day. Look how small and evil they look here. When I was in my room, I had double eyelids! LOL WTF. But then sadly, the double eyelids were only temporary ):

Damn it. I want BIG eyes.

So I know our food is half eaten. Cause that's when I suddenly remember to take pictures again. Our GAM JA TANG! (Not as good as the ones from that Owl restaurant though)

BB ordered a mixed bowl. It consisted a lot of food and then you mix it all together with hot sauce. Surprisingly this bowl was really good.

And who can forget the Kim chi. We also had bean sprouts and Tempura fried potato with sweet sauce.

After dinner we walked over to Farah's Food mart to buy my friend Calvin something before visiting him. And when we were going to pay. The cashier man looked at us and called us a cute couple. Then I can't believe he said this, but he did! "Do you have children together?" LOLL WTF. And then he starts laughing and said, "Joking, have a great night". I don't get it.

Anyways, on our way to Calvin's place. I got us lost and BB had to call Calvin to come get us. We were walking in the dark and the moment I said, "imagine something came out and got us", Calvin jumped out from behind and scared the crap out of us. LOL.

After visiting Calvin, BB walked me back to my place and we had to say goodbye since his ride came. And since I'm such a crybaby nowadays, I couldn't hold in my tears before he left and he had to comfort me. I blame that Japanese tearjerker drama. One Litre of Tears. Omg, after that movie, I cry about everything that's sad. LOL.

Anyways, I've been thinking about the Halloween weekend. Should I stay here at Waterloo for another weekend? There are many Halloween parties in Waterloo and I've never been to any of them before. At the same time, I want to be back home and go Trick or Treating :P Perhaps we can have a Halloween party this year? Hahas. I actually want to dress up for this year's Halloween. It's been 8 years since the last time I celebrated this holiday. As over used as it is I was a Witch. So any suggestions to what I can be this year?

The NOT so suite life.

Hello. I know I haven't talked much about my Suite. I haven't actually remembered or feel like taking pictures of the outside of my room. The weather outside is not so great nor do I like being outside of my own room. But here's a reason I hate being out. Just look at how much idiots I have to deal with living here. What the hell, right outside my door I see this. Apparently, it was on OUR door.

It took some time to realize its a penis with white icing on it. What kind of disgusting faggots do this? There's a note on it. Reads: "Good luck in the open-door contest. We made you a door stop :)" It's clearly in a girl's writing. Even girls are so corrupted here. Last time, in my Sociology lecture, some group of girls start talking non stop and everyone around them was annoyed. When the slide show turns to the topic transgender and a picture of a drag queen was posted, one of those girls shouted: "Hey, there's your mom". WTH? The very inconsiderate & rude girls started talking on phone and laughing loudly in a class of 600 students. Some annoyed girl told them to shush and I swear one of them spit at her. :S

You can never study properly or rather even sleep at all in my building. So here's the daily schedule:

(10:00pm) A group of non-talented musicians? starts to play with pots and pans trying to make a rhythm. Or on nice days they do horrible karaoke. It's soo loud and they are in second floor two suites right!

(11:00pm)Then some guys start to play football in our courtyard where my window is facing. Every now and then the ball hits my window and scares the BAJESUS out of me.

(12:00am) People drop in my suite and starts chatting

(1:00am) My roommates cook (late midnight snack?)

(2:00am) Guys upstairs starts playing some intense game. Here, the non stop shouting and deep voice laughing can be heard

(3:00am -5:00am) Upstairs starts their much needed daily dose of ROCKBAND. I hear the fucking singer hum. I hear the fucking drummer smash the drums and kill the foot pedal. WTF are these guys doing ?!

(6:00am) Some stupid birds start chirping like theres no tomorrow

(7:00am) I wake up to prepare for my morning classes )':

This is exactly why I always take naps during the middle of the day...

Anyways, when I'm not taking a nap I'm playing games :) Well, there has to be some kind of entertainment in my life. So since I'm such a jewbag. I play Be-a-jew (Bejewel, get it? HAHAS I know BB's laughing with me LOL) on Facebook every week. And I must say, this is the game I'm best at so far...

This you should know. I am very committed to my Restaurant City game on Facebook (Facebook games again? You see, it's all my laptop can handle). Yes, I know the look of my restaurant is very sketchy. But that's the whole point. Makes you wonder how the inside looks likes huh? (I believe this restaurant name is also the reason why I get such high ratings, but damn! Probably a mother down-graded half a star off). I do not hack or cheat in this game. That's why I'm still in 7th place. But at least I reached the highest level obtainable!

Here's how the inside of it looks like. Total opposite of the outside right? That's why there's a saying: Never judge a book by it's cover. I take the longest time rearranging my restaurant so it's appealing and efficient (I did tell you I'm going into business right? lols) Add me and trade me ingredients if you play!

Okay, so the reason why I manage to post again is because my 5 midterms are over! And I have completed all the assignments due for now. I still have one more economics midterm, then a sociology midterm followed by a psychology midterm and dozens of quizzes and 4 massive assignments. I have no reading week and exams are mid December ): Life as an AFM student SUCKS BIG TIME.

Diane Upgrades her cooking :9

So I went to Price Choppers, to get some grocery since my fridge echoes when I open it. I know, it's not the best place to purchase the best food, but it will do. And I'm cheap :) I only got one bag of food since I didn't know whether I'll be going home the following weekend. So I got enough food for a week. Here's what I bought:

• Salt and vinegar chips
• Fuze drink
• Poptarts
• Marble cheese (can't survive without cheese)
• salmon fillet
• Swedish meatballs
• Potatoes/ potato salad
• Brownies
• Mushroom and green onions

Total: $26.49

My first dinner was Spaghetti with fresh mushrooms and Swedish meatballs and tomato sauce YUM. (Thanks. I know I eat alone in my room for dinner cause I'm such a loser like that)

Omg, I don't know why I ALWAYS fall for these pre-made salads. It's not like their even good. I just buy it for like the convenience. Oh, there you see my mash potatoes! I know what your thinking . . MORE POTATOES ? Yeahhhh!

And you can never forget the pepper from McDonalds! Everyone knows I practically spam my food with these babies. (Yeah, thats right I stole a few from McDonalds)

There it's complete. With more mushrooms and eggs on the side. Yes, I'm desperate to eat my mushrooms fresh :)

This is it. This is the most prettiest meal I have ever made to date. (Note: I'm not a big fan of cooking). Salmon Fillet with sesame ginger sauce and veggies on the side. This was to reward my hard days work of attempting to study and cleaning the apartment :D CHOW TIME

Okay, so you've noticed. That majority of my blogs are about food. Maybe because when I actually manage to make a meal, I get so proud of myself and just at that moment I remember to grab my camera and snap a picture!

It's October and we have a snowman?!

This is Rhodri, from 3rd floor. He made a snowman for us. So in the middle of October, you would still except leaves to be falling and yet, theres snow in Waterloo... HA, trick ya! I bet you actually thought it snowed here in Waterloo. But then again, I won't be surprised if it did. It's so cold here and it already snowed in other places.

This little snowman was made from the ice my roommates and I scraped from our super frozen freezer. For some reason, our freezer is stuck in the ice ages. All our food got freezer burns ): Even when we finally manage to de-ice the freezer and switch the settings to the warmest, the freezer still remains a frozen ice cube. It's so cold that once I opened the freezer to get my waffles, my fingers were stuck on the inside of the freezer door. Much similar to the scenario of a tongue stuck on a pole in the winter cold. Yep . .Here's Mr. Snowman melting away in a pot:
So in fear of this cold. I desperately needed a winter jacket. And I've had my eyes on the TNA long duffle wool coat for a LONG TIME. Those who know me knew I wanted this coat since forever. 2 years at least? Yeah, so because I should treat myself sometimes (according to BB), I purchased the coat without stopping to think.
My poor wallet. I don't think I've paid for something this expensive myself. Besides my Orthodontist visits. I doubt this will keep me really warm during the harsh winter in Canada (especially in Waterloo since I compare it to the North Pole). But sometimes girls sacrifice comfort for looks. ADMIT IT! Don't make me seem like the only nut case.
After I paid for my coat at Aritzia, they give me a nice hanger with a huge coat bag to carry home. Thank goodness, BB was there to carry it for me :) (Thanks bum!) When I got home, I laid out my purchase. The coat bag reminded me of a body bag LOL. I know sounds insane, but it does. And since I'm so petite. I can probably actually fit inside. NOT THAT I TRIED.
So this is me with my coat on. What do you think? Is it too small (the width of the coat) or too long?
Oh yeah, this is some Forever 21 dress that I bought on the same day. I wanted to like this top, but it doesn't fit me. Apparently, f21 clothing are made for those who have extremely large TA TAs and long bodies. LOL So this became a dress instead. *sigh* But the fit is just not right... But I like the length of it and my heels :) It's an old purchase from Aldo that I never had the chance to actually wear it more. I wish I did cause now it's impossible in this weather.
Maybe you have noticed, but probably not. I cut my hair! I'm enjoying the ease of taking care of short hair. It's so light and easy to wash and dry. The cut also helped me stop my want of the GHD. Cause theres no point in straightening or curling short hair :P Plus, I can make good use of my headbands. Uh oh, here comes my headband obsession :S

Although, I can't make Creme Brulee or anything else fancy. I manage to keep myself full and avoid Pepto Bismol :D Here's my spaghetti with a good book. LOL hell no. I hate this business book. But nonetheless, I must READ even while eating.

So whenever I come back BB takes me out to eat. I wanted Japanese food this weekend, so we went to Wasabi and had some sushi. Here's a glimpse at the menu which BB and I found extremely funny:

Waterloo = North Pole ?

Omg, it's like so cold here in Waterloo. My mornings are much like this little fella. Just this morning was -2 degree Celsius. I had to wear my mittens, scarf and a long fall jacket with boots. That's the kind of outfit I would wear during Markham's winters. It's insanely cold here. Most of the students are bundled up like Michelins with backpacks. Yet, I saw one girl with a small jacket and underwear-short shorts and those mini Uggs. Then another in the hall with demin skirt and a long cardigan. Wow, insane or brave?

I remember when my boyrfriend moved 25 minutes up north of Markham and my friends used to tease him about living in North Pole. Now I'm like almost 2 hours away and it's extremely cold here. Where am I? Oh, right WATERLOO. Worse place to live during the cold.

Anyways, I just came back from class and I thought I should make at least one post. Since I swear my last post was September or something LOL. I'll try my best to find time to do this again. Stupid midterms. Alrights, I'm going to read for a bit and head back to sleep since I was interrupted by my roommates in the living room at 3:30am. I KNOW! I was suppose to get the best sleep in weeks cause BB got me to sleep before 12am. Errr.
