Time for change

I'm on Google images? Damn it. ): Yes, I got bored and googled myself. LOL

Hahas, lately I've been so obsessed with Korean's beastly idols, 2PM! So sad that the leader (first dude on the left) was criticized and went back to the U.S. I know this is like super old news. But damn, he was my favourite ):

Anyways, I'm back in Waterloo. Forgot to bring my keys, however, surprisingly my door was unlocked. I don't know whether it was me who forgot to lock it when I left or maintenance came to open it. Oh well, at least I don't need to be locked out :P

I have 3 midterms this week; therefore, I'm suppose to be studying my ass off since I slacked off during my reading week. Time for some change. Must work hard to get outta here LOL.

Laters, gators.

Love Love Love !

Two holidays in one day? And it has to be Chinese New Years and Valentines?!
I don't know if it's a good thing. So do you celebrate with your family or significant other?
(Darn, this dilemma is only for us Asians)

Well, of course family first for both bb and I.
We switched Valentines to Tuesday since we'd have all day to ourselves.

This Valentines starts with good smelling stuff :)
BB gets me our favourite scented hand wash.

Then as promised we watched The Time Traveler's Wife.

Lime and Cypress from Fruits and Passion.
Sparkles for Valentines!
Took me 3 tries for the thumbs.
Purple bows with purple nails and BB surprises me with purple roses!

To the sweetest dude,
Thanks for everything!
I love you.

Happy Chinese New Years everyone :)

Homesick?

I haven't been home in a month! I'm starting to get homesick. My back and shoulders are sore from sleeping on the most uncomfortable mattress here. I have not step foot into a car since January. And most importantly !! I RAN OUT OF GOOD FOOD. All I have left in my cupboards and fridge is 4 cans of food, half glass bottle of spaghetti sauce, expired cheesestring/kraft dinner/lipton noodles/milk. HA, and well . . .I still have my stash of instant noodles, but how can you only survive on those things?!

...Luckily, I have a meal plan. To satisfy my hunger, I swiped my food card like it was a black Amex.

First swipe, TIMMYs. Egg salad and Veggie soup with the FV.
Second swipe, a $7 SALAD?! And I had to forget to grab the zesty Italian sauce): This was a no-no. As in NEVER BUYING IT AGAIN. I don't care how it looks; it tastes like cardboard.
Therefore, I cooked it.
I'm so close to heading home, but there's one thing I must complete. That is the dreaded Math midterm... I'm no mathy. I think University math is so difficult ): Looking at it gives me a big headache!
When I go home or just travelling, you won't see me with a super heavy backpack on pulling a luggage behind with both hands holding bags...unless I offered to help someone with their stuff. I like to pack light. As in I only take what I really need. In this case, my netbook and 3 textbooks. However, I did need to bring back the things I bought for joanne (it's all inside). Muahahas my mighty bag holds all. :D
The next time you see me, I'd be back home for the Valentines/New Years week.

P.S I just ate 5 slices of pepperoni pizza, some potato wedges, and apple slices with caramel dip (MacD's). I'm a fatass :D

Hardwater. Yuck.

Hard water is water that has high mineral content (in contrast with soft water). Hard water minerals primarily consist of calcium (Ca2+), and magnesium (Mg2+) metalcations, and sometimes other dissolved compounds such as bicarbonates and sulfates. Calcium usually enters the water as either calcium carbonate (CaCO3), in the form of limestone and chalk, or calcium sulfate (CaSO4), in the form of other mineral deposits. The predominant source of magnesium is dolomite (CaMg(CO3)2). Hard water is generally not harmful to one's health.
Sadly, all of the water in our residence is not filtered that well. It's all hard water. Although, not harmful, it's pretty annoying. First of all, it leaves my hair really rough and my skin ultra dry. Second, no matter how hard I scrub my dishes, the limescale builds up. It has permanently damaged my brand new water boiler! The limescale build up is very noticeable, around the sinks, the shower, and the toilet. Here's what I mean:
Didn't want to take pictures of the sinks and stuff because it might gross you out. And I am ashamed of the mess in my residence right now. But honestly, I'm sick of always being the one who's cleaning after everyone's shit.
On the brighter side, I bought sushi! The chili sauce on those salmon rolls are crazy. If I don't scrap it off, I would need to drink a carton of milk to save my tongue.
439-0000 PIZZA NOVA! Yes, I have one right across my residence :D
Check it out:
Om nom nom !

You Don't Have to Drink.

Inside: "You don't have to kiss to have a happy valentines day either, but it's a hell-of-a-lot more FUN! "
My birthday card from Katie and Betty :)

Purchases at Victoria's Secret's PINK store at Conestoga mall. I literally went there two days in a row LOL. These are all for you JOBOB.
I was baking some fish and chips the other day. Had to flip them over midway into the cooking. I didn't put on oven mitts cause I was too cool. Now look my right hand is half baked.
So no more baking for me, I turned to some fast food. Honestly, the entire last week was devoted to downing fast food for every meal. I had Harvey's twice, Popeyes a few times, KFC, Pizza Nova and School Cafeteria food. Can I say calories overload? Here's something a little more on the healthy side. But at it's hefty price, I rather eat deep fried chicken...AGAIN.
The nice weather came and left. What a joke. I was enjoying the warmness. Now it's like we're trying to survive the ice age. Temperatures dropping to -18? Are you shitting me? I can't even go out to eat anymore. Therefore, I had hotpot yesterday and some nice hot chocolate. (Thanks Katie)
Watery hot chocolate anyone?
Go away winter!
