It's only been the second week of school and I already managed to get sick. I'm coughing, sneezing, headaches, runny nose, and a really bad case of sore throat D: I believe I have a cold. All because of the stuuuuupid weather here in Waterloo. The day I wear my peacoat is the day the sun decides to warm up everything. The day I wear a thin long sleeve, is the day fog decides to cover the sun making it 13 degrees celcuis. Give me a break! So here I am. Sick. Tired. Unwilling to go near any textbook and locked up in my room hoping not to spread my germs. I made myself a can of mushroom cream soup. Still sipping on it. Lols and look! The mushrooms are in slices not diced! It's huge!! YUM :9

What have you been eating?
So my mornings start off with this: Eggs with bagel and Milk. Sadly, that is only if I woke up early. It's usually just cereal, but not bad since each of my roommates bought different cereal boxes. I have a choice between: Honey Nut Cheerios, Honey Combs, Froshed Flakes, Special K, and Corn Pop. Cool eh?
This is Caf food purchaed at the Davis Center in my campus. This is what people eat when they have meal plans. EVERDAY, FOR EVERY MEAL. So since I have a basic meal plan, I thought I should try out the take out from there. Big mistake! The food was so oily that after I finished eating, it was just oil mixed with soy sauce. Damn, I should have took a picture. But I had an excuse, my stomach started hurting like shit. I assume it's the oily food cause that's pretty much all I ate that day. So bad, only the drink was good. . . No. The drink costed me $3! So that's not good. I could have walked over to tea shop 168 and got a fancy drink instead. This meal alone was like $12! WTF I know. University is such a rip off.
Back to a much digestable meal. Noodles with stripes of ham and veggies. Fine, I admit it. I didn't make it. It was a frozen dinner that I just microwaved :P
If you didn't know, I did 3 posts in one day. Just cause I didn't have time to post. Being a student, at Waterloo. . I'm so busy ): Well, not at the moment cause I finally caught up with 3 of my 5 classes. Woohoo. . University, unlike high school moves at a pace so fast that if you missed one day of studying, you are 2 chapters behind for every class.

New Room Arrangement, New Netbook
OMG DBSK. Don't worry, I'm not as crazy as I am with them as oppose to about a year. But they are still the best boy group in South Korea! I don't care what you say!! I was lucky enough to have a friend that's willing to give me her spare poster (Thanks Edith!) It really helps cover the bareness of my room in residence. P.S The middle guy, Kim Jae Joong is love. (BB I still love you the most! So don't cry over that LOL)
Home on the weekend
Isn't this like, the biggest fish tanks you've ever seen in someone's house? Well, for me it's definately the biggest. I was at my one of my cousin's house for his birthday party and this gigantic tank with huge koi fishes caught my attention. I'm pretty sure its meant to do that since its in the foyer.
So yeah, after I finally came back home from Waterloo, it was like I was being sent to heaven again :) I came home and I literally ran into every room in the house, amazed at it's size. The room I have in Waterloo is like a prison cell (looks and smell like one too, yuck). It's smaller than Amy's shed D: On top of that, it doesn't even have double doors and two windows!
On Saturday, BB and I went to Pacific mall to complain about my stupidd laptop. The stupidd company said that I have to pay for a $45 diagnostic test to see if it was really defective. WTF. HELLO! the harddrive screeches, even a dummy knows that theres something wrong! Er.
Anyways, after that stupid pointless trip, BB just offered to help me try and fix the laptop. My cousin then came to pick us up to go shopping in the Upper Canada Mall. I honestly don't know why they made such a nice mall up there when it's much better off here. Same goes with that Don Mills Center. BB joked how it's a mall for farmers cause there's just farms around that place LOL. That explains the huge empty parking lots on a Saturday afternoon (parking for large tractors) Here's a picture of the food court: there's Forever 21!
Omg, BB and I are such fatties. We each ate a plate from Teriyaki (Pineapple Pork and Beef Teriyaki). Finished that in no time. So we went to get more food! New York Fries Poutine YUM. Even though the gravy looks more like chocolate fudge, we still managed to finish it (of course).

Lectures beginning at 8:30am !
Yes, just like the title states. My classes are so early in the morning! But thankfully, I don't need to bus for hours to get to school. Cause that would mean I have to wake up at 5:00am to make breakfast, shower, and be cramped in the subways. My walk to class is acceptable minus the heavy textbooks. I have class in the newest accounting building. The lecture halls are spacious and amazing. My course is very competitive. Even when it comes to getting a seat in the lecture. Everyone is like early for class and everyday theres at least one person who doesn't have a seat. I hope that person will never be me. That's where my lectures are.
It would be nice to bring in my laptop to the lectures so instead of wasting ink to print out the slide notes, I can just view it from the screen infront of me. However, my laptop isn't behaving. I get the blue screen every now and then. The hard drive squeaks (probably dying). So I refuse to bring it to class and make a fool of myself. I don't know if it's the laptop (Asus K40IN-A1) that's bad or if I'm just not good with computers and laptops in general. This is because I killed my desktop at home several times. Like even my sister's dinosaur desktop outruns my HP desktop. So I'm hoping I can get a refund on this one and purchase another one. I'm looking into netbook cause it's small. I don't want anything bigger than 13.3'' and the battery must last beyond 4 hours. Keep in mind I'm not rich. Any good suggestions?
Just as I thought bb would do. He took the effort to take pictures of the things I made for him right after I posted that comment. Isn't he sweet? That's why I spend the summer trying to hide this and learn how to fold roses and bake clay. However, bb is way too observant. I used fragranted red thick origami paper (however bb says it smells like washroom). Purchased at One's Better Living store. I can probably make a tutorial for how to make the rose bouquet and the Mameshiba cellphone charms if I have time or if someone requests (I doubt more than 2 ppl will read this).
I also gave him a photo of us on the beach in this really nice frame. Along with a mini photo frame thats just the right size for our booth photos. There's a mini bottle of pills. Not drugs. There are actually messages inside them. It's called 'happy pills' for the mind when you feel down. I hope bb doesn't have to use it, but it's there in case he misses me while I'm in Waterloo. I don't know if you can tell, but thats a underwear that the bottle is wearing. It's another cellphone charm. This underwear is bb's and I have the matching bra :) Well, that's it! Two blogs on one day makes up for my two days of absence right?
I hate this !!!
Yes, Minestrone soup for lunch ;9 But bb had Cream of Chicken so I'm extremely jealous!
Here's a better picture of my desk. It's feels pretty comfortable at the moment. I don't think I'll be rearranging for a while. Which is a good thing cause I have so much reading to do.
Two days before I had to leave for Waterloo, I went out for a whole day with my bb. We were suppose to be at Vaughan Mills mall for the day. After we had lunch at a small Chinese restaurant, we head back to his place since he had to drop off something. I ended up playing "fey hung kay" (Chinese game, much like 'trouble') with him and his little brother. Surprisingly, even though I was the last to move my planes, I won the game ! YES. So we made the loser, bb, clean up hahahahas. His little brother then said out of nowhere, "Hey, did you give Diane the Swarovksi yet". LOL. I think it was suppose to be a surprise for me or something cause bb was like red. LOL. It's a really pretty bracelet from the Swarovski store in Ginza, Japan. :D I'm the luckiest girl in this world. I know it :) Oh btw. That's our prom picture and one of our Pacific mall booth photos.
It's really nice, but I don't know what angles I'm suppose to take the bracelet in. So I just quickly took a random snapshot. Reminder: this photo just doesn't do justice.
I bet you that you won't be able to find another 18 year old with hands and arms as small as me :) I'm really petite. Therefore, I have to wear the bracelet like this :P Even at its smallest hoop, it slips off. So I put the clutch on even farther. Can you see the cute Swarovski crystal swan on the end ? And stamped on the clutch?
At around dinner time, bb and I head over to Montanas for some ribs. Well, he ate the ribs I forgot what I ate. While we were waiting for food we decided to take silly pictures. Okay, fine only I did that. I guess I was trying to show bb what happens when you eat too much ribs.
This is bb. I forgot what he was actually doing, but let's just say he's posing again :P This time with his 'I am Superman' T-shirt. You can see the Montanas' moose and the deer on the top left corner.
By the end of the day, we totally forgot about the trip to Vaughan Mills. Oh, and here's a sneak peak at what I made for bb. Maybe he'll be nice enough to take a picture of what I made for him and so I can post it up and show you guys.

Living Alone
I'm starting to get used to living here in Waterloo. At first it seemed like I was away on vacation, but then as time passed, I met more people and it didn't make me feel lonely. I am still learning to be independent. Hopefully, I don't need someone to constantly remind me to study =\ Anyways yesturday I just slept till 10 and figured that maybe I should dress in black and gold then head to the Waterloo Warriors football game. Just to show some school spirit. However, being as lazy as I am. I skipped it and just took a bus to go do some much need grocery shopping at the closest place, Zehrs. Honestly, I have never heard of it. It is supposively the same company as Fortinos and Loblaws.
My friends and I are totally new to the bussing routes in Waterloo. We have unlimited access to busses because we just need to flash the bus driver our WATcard (student card). Here's us waiting for the bus after buying our food:
Like right after we got home, we started making dinner. It was only 4:30pm. I know. But we were starving so we cooked more than enough for the 3 of us.
That's me after I was satisfied :9 Oh yes, I get the cute pink cup.
After dinner. We always end up having leftovers. Anyways, I have to leave in 20 minutes for the accounting orientation. Its a good thing that I met all these new people cause then I would be so lonely walking to the opposite side of the campus all by myself.

The Beginning
Okay. Since this is my first blog post, I should probably start with an introduction or something. However, let me tell you the first thing you'll know about me. I'm extremely lazy. I don't want write a long boring intro about me when I'm not being graded on it :P You'll get to learn me as you follow along with my blog. So either subscribe or bookmark this blog if you like.
So basically, I started a blog so that my family and friends can find out what I am doing while I'm away for university. Here I'm going to talk about the highlights and the not so great life of a student living far from home.
I'm a full-time student enrolled in the School of Accounting and Finance in the University of Waterloo. I moved in 4 days ago. The school is currently having a week long orientation for the freshmen. My class starts Sept. 14th however as a AFM (accounting and financial management)student my orientation continues on for another week. I actually don't see it as a good thing because by then my classes have started and I would have to attend the orientation after class at night till 9:30pm. I will be back at my residence really late and on top of that I would have readings and notes to write from class.
Here's a map of my campus. In my opinion, it's gigantic. Although it takes me probably 5 minutes to get on campus ground, my farthest class would take me probably 15+ minutes. Also, I would also have 7+lbs. of textbooks on my right shoulders since I forgot to bring my backpack :S
I'm currently living with 3 of my friends in a suite style residence. Therefore, we have a living room, a kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a room for each of us. Unfortunately, I was assigned the smallest room and I feel like I'm living in my closet at home ): Here's some pictures of my room the day I moved in. I guarantee it's not going to look like this after a few more visits back home to get some more personal belongings.
Yesturday, I slept at 5:30 in the morning and I woke up at 8am for a fire drill. It's been like this all week long. I don't even live in the party residences and I'm already feeling exhausted. Where do these people get their energy from ?! Anyways, I'll continue to update this blog whenever I'm back home. Here's a glimpse of the night life here:
